This game starts off neglecting all the imaginable security protocols. There's a fire at the hospital and whilst the doctors try to save their patients, along comes another doctor in a helicopter and jumps onto the roof. Instead of helping out her colleagues, she falls down a hole and gives her mates even more work... Allison, your favorite doctor, is back with this exciting medical game that you'll never forget. If you want to know what happens next you'll have to pay because after this scene the game puts us in the shoes of Allison a few weeks earlier. You'll be able to play the first 10 levels totally free of charge, but then you'll have to purchase individual chapters or the full game. If this plot rings a bell, that's because this Heart's Medicine - Hospital Heat is the much-awaited sequel to Heart's Medicine - Time to Heal. It's a hospital game with a plot worthy of the worst episode of Chicago Hope in which your mission is to help Allison to save lives, measuring kids and placing suppositories, amongst many other things. Despite the previous lines and the obsession of its creators with the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, this game is all about curing and healing patients just as if you were a barman serving drinks. The faster you are, the quicker they will heal and the happier they will be. Basically, each time an ill person comes along, you have to assign the unit indicated and apply the treatment diagnosed. Such treatment can involve a variety of activities such as putting a cast on a teddy bear, taking instruments to different people or playing minigames, such as placing bandages or cutting plasters with a chainsaw without any care. The free trial version revolves around pediatrics but, as you manage to unlock levels (obviously, paying for them), Allison will be promoted to other services: Pediatrics. Pathological anatomy. Burn unit. Maternity room. Intensive care unit. Psychiatry. As you complete levels and challenges, you'll be rewarded with money and diamonds. The former can be used to improve the elements of your hospital so that Allison can move around faster and your patients can be more patient. The diamonds can be used to improve our doctor's apartment as she lives in a cubbyhole that needs a refurbishment, just like her love life. The graphics are simple but cute, and the gameplay is addictive: healing patients with these methods is hard but cool. And although the story is entertaining and keeps you on your toes, it's quite foreseeable and slightly too dramatic for our liking.
